Primary Math (Punggol)

Approach:
Hands-on concrete examples presented whenever available/possible.
We make use of the physical surroundings or history behind certain concepts and theories, as well as demonstrate with actual materials that mimic problem at hand as closely as possible, for deep understanding to draw out more innate curiosity and problem solving skills from students.

We also gently guide them by using socratic questioning, to test students' own understanding to sieve out any misunderstandings or errors. Lastly, we encourage students with hints so that they may become more interested in learning and gain confidence in problem-solving independently, much like solving a puzzle.

Our group tuition is well-loved by many of our students, as we believe in engaging students, followed by explaining concepts well and then simplifying it further for better understanding and efficient application.

She always emphasises to her students that understanding it deeply means less memorisation work. Understanding is at the core of learning and she always endeavours to have students appreciate and be amazed at the knowledge they are learning.

Our group tuition is kept small (we have around 3-4 students in each slot), enabling more personalised focus.
